Biography
Morton (Johnsen) Johnson was born in Norway
Morten Andreas was born on 28 August 1831 at Vaskaas under Jøntvet, Helgen.[1] He was the son of Jon Mortensen Store-Helgen / Vaskaas and Anne Halvorsdatter.[1]
When Morton was 34 he left by wagon train from Wyoming, NB and traveled 55 days. The date of departure was August 1866 and the Company was the Abner Lowry Company. I wonder where they ended up at. This info is from Family Search.
He passed away in 1867.
