Biography
Daughter of William E Johnson & Aurilla J Beavers. Married William Lee Hall. Their daughter Billie Sue was a student at New London School when it exploded. She sustained a skull fracture and spent 10 days in the hospital. Sue was on campus when the disaster occurred, and rushed over to help. People were pulling survivors and bodies out of the rubble and loading the injured into whatever vehicles were nearby. Sue was one of the rescuers that drove people to the hospital.
After her husband William died, Sue married Travis Gary.
