Biography

Son of Robert Lafayette Johnson and Agnes Camilla Mooney.

His mother died in 1928.

At age 8 Robert was living in Cumberland, Allegheny, Maryland with his widowed father, sister Margaret A. Johnson and grandmother Anna Johnson.^[1]

Robert was living in Baltimore in 1940 with his grandmother Lucy F. Mooney and cousin Joseph P. Mooney.^[2]

He enlisted in World War II in 1942 from Baltimore.^[3]
