Research Notes

He can't be born in Suffolk, New York because it didn't exist in 1635. Suffolk county wasn't created until 1683. He could be part of the Johnson family that founded New Haven Connecticut. Members of the New Haven community went to Long Island in the 1640's and founded Southold, Long island. The eastern part Long Island was under the control and governed by New Haven Connecticut at that time.

Johnson-128634 and Johnson-87839 appear to represent the same person because: they married the same spouse.
