Before 1869, Elizabeth JOHNSTON, daughter of David FORRESH?, a gardener, was born likely in Ireland.^[1][2]

On February 28, 1889, Elizabeth, of full age, a widow, and James CARSON, of full age, a bachelor and farmer, were married in Enniskillen Parish, County Fermanagh, Ireland. Elizabeth was residing in Lisgoole, Rossorry Parish, County Fermanagh and James was residing in Rushin (East or West?) Cleenish Parish, County Fermanagh. The witnesses were James MULHERN? and Rebecca MULHERN.^[3][2]
