Biography

Jean served his country as a pilot in World War II and in Korea. He remained in the Air Force as a career officer and retired as a squadron commander with 24 years of service. After retirement he had a second career as an administrator with Marin County Health and Human Services. He helped usher in the computer era there and was the computer guru of the department for many years. Jean had many avocations throughout his life and always threw himself wholeheartedly into his hobbies. His lifelong love was photography and he was proud to tell people that he sold his first photograph at age eleven. He met Marny as a result of their interest in drama and they shared a love of theatre throughout their 59 year marriage, attending and supporting Bay Area theatrical companies.
