Obituary for George O. Jones. Grafton news. Grafton, WV. Mon., Feb. 13, 1950. Abstract--Funeral services fro George O. Jones, 77, of Pruntytown secion of Grafton, who died Thursday, were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Beulah Baptist Church. Interment was at Harmony Grove Cemetery. The deceased was a native of Fairmont, but had resided in the Pruntytown community since he was 16 years of age. He was a son of the late Harrison and Elizabeth A. Prickett Jones. He is survived by his wife, Louella Keener Jones, and the following children; Mrs. Ruby Daugherty of New Bethlehem, Pa., Mrs. Gladys Thompson of Pruntytown, and Mrs. Lois Daugherty, at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Oral Jones of Grafton, and Cleaphas Jones of Belington. In recent years Mr. Jones had been employed as a janitor at the Pruntytown Grade School.
