Edward was born on 15 December 1878 in Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, Wales [1]
In 1881 he was recorded as a farmer's son with his parents and family at Sychpwlch, Llandysilio, Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, Wales [2]
In 1891 he was a scholar living with his parents and family at Sychpwlch, Llandysilio, Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, Wales [3]
In 1901 he was a Waggoner on a farm in Rhosfawr, Meifod, Llanfyllin, Montgomeryshire, Wales [4]
Edward married Catherine Ann Davies (1886-1960) on 11 Mar 1908 at Llanfihangel-Yng-Ngwynfa, Montgomeryshire, Wales [5][6]
In 1911 he was listed as his occupation of Corthwgwathegar farm at Pandy, Llwydiarth, Llangadfan, Welshpool, Llanfihangel Yn Ngwynfa, Montgomeryshire, Wales [7]
In the 1921 census Edward (age 42), Cattle Feeder, was the head of household in Penndy, Llanfihangel Yng Ngwynfa, Montgomeryshire, Wales.[8]
