Biography
William was born in 1814. William Jones was of Irish descent. Oral history from Margaret (Myers) Phillips, obtained from Flossie (Myers) Summerville, stated that Billy arrived in America with two brothers, but only one remained. In censuses, he reported being born in PA.[1]
