Wanda was born in 1905. She is the daughter of C. H. Jones and Theodocia Henry. ^[1]

Wanda Jones, Travelers Rest Wanda Jones, 95, of 105 South Creek Drive, Travelers Rest, died Jan. 25, 2000, at Oakmont Nursing Home, Greenville.

She was a daughter of the late Dr. Charles Hamilton Jones and Theodocia Henry Jones Phillipson. She was predeceased by Frances H. Jones Chastain and C. Harry Jones.

Miss Wanda taught elementary school until she retired in 1966. She was a member of Dahlonega First Baptist Church where she served as pianist/organist for 45 years, and taught the Beginners Sunday School class for 25 years.

Surviving are a niece and nephew, Mary and Glenn Farr of Travelers Rest; her nephew, Joe Chastain of Gainesville, Ga.; a great-niece, Amy Farr Stewart of Easley; and a great- nephew, Charles Robert Farr of Travelers Rest.

Private graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Dahlonega, Ga.
