Biography

Hannah was born in 1809 in Manchester, Lancashire, England. She was the daughter of John Jones.^[1]

When Hannah was about 24 she married Rev George Browne MacDonald on 2 May 1833 in Manchester. The couple had 11 children: Mary Rawlinson Macdonald, Henry James Macdonald, Alice Caroline MacDonald, Georgiana Macdonald, Frederick William Macdonald, Anges Macdonald, Louisa Macdonald, Walter Macdonald, Edith Macdonald, Herbert Macdonald and Caroline Elizabeth Macdonald.^[2]
