Biography
Baptized on 10 Feb 1811 at Llanrug. He appears in 1861 as Evan J. Price. This suggests his father's name was John Price. He is probably the Evan Jones of Pant-y-Celyn who died 13 Dec 1880 at the age of 70. He was a founder of the Methodist Case [Church?] at Cwm y Glo and a deacon there for over 30 years.
