Biography

He is on the 1841 Census as father to Thomas, occupation puddler, not born in Staffordshire. Assumed death after the date of the 1841 Census.
He may have been born in Shropshire, as there is a significant history of iron working in many parts of Wales. Also Jones is a very common Welsh name.

Research Notes

There are 25+ marriage records for William Jones's to Sarahs, in the years 1785-1791 in the Dudley area.
It is impossible to know if one of these might be correct. If the marriage took place somewhere else the possibilties expand exponentionally .

Children 13 children were baptised at Saint Thomas, Dudley , Worcestershire, England, from 1790 -1810 born to a William Jones and his wife Sarah, 8 of these possible children are included in this family.
These children seem the most likely to be descendants of Willam and Sarah Unknown.
Birth dates are assumed to be the same month as the baptism or in some cases the month prior,
Whether all these children belong to the same two people is unknown.
