Lydia Jordin Renick
Lydia Jordin was born in October 6, 1840, the second of two children born to Abram Jordin and his wife Jane Edmiston. In 1844, at the age of four she moved with her parents and sister Nancy from Pocahontas County, West Virginia to Missouri.
She married William Strother Renick October 22, 1868, in Lafayette County, Missouri. They had five children:James Goodwin, Nancy Aurelia, Charles Edmiston, Wade Hampton and William Strother, Jr. In 1890, they moved from Vernon County, Missouri to Bourbon County, Kansas, in 1895 to Kearny County, Kansas and later to Garden City, Finney County, Kansas.
