Biography

John Juxon "of Poplar" was apparently the only son of Thomas Juxon and his first wife Katherine Walrond. ^[1]

He apparently died before 1642, when he was not mentioned in his father's Will. ^[2]

Research Note:

There is no real evidence for his existence, other than a listing in Juxon Pedigrees, which all derive from the same source and are known to contain errors. A "John Juxon of Poplar" is listed as the husband of Susan Dethicke, who died in childbirth and was buried on 20 September 1632. ^[3] But this John is equally plausibly John Juxon, his cousin, whose first wife is claimed to be a Sarah Dethicke, probably an error for Susan, as no Sarah Dethicke seems to have existed.
