Biography
When Anna Deborah was about 18 she married EliasElio Alexander Schrekinger between 1904 and 1909 in Sambor, Austria (now Ukraine). The couple had 5 children: Ruth Schreckinger, Morris (Miltie) Jack Schreckinger, Malcie (Molly) Schreckinger, Leicie (Lillie) Schreckinger and Sabena Beatrice Beatrice Sabena Schreckinger.
Anna Deborah was buried on 16 May 1924 in Old Montefiore Cemetery, Queens, NY.

Died at age 36 while pregnant with 6th child. Told she swallowed rat poison or was given a potion to abort by a Mrs. Blum, but that led to her death. Treated as a possible suicide by authorities and her children were taken for about 3 months from their dad Alex and placed in foster home. Anna Dvora died of sepsis, sero-fibronous pleurisy. Died 5/16/24, when my mom was almost 4. Anna was active in the Samborer Society and was a good singer and sewer who made all the drapes and kids' clothing. Married Alex (Elias) in Sambor. Elias was to have married her older sister, according to my mother, but he fell in love with Anna. This can't be accurate however, since I know now that Anna had only one sister who died very young. Growing up, I was told Anna died of the flu.
Sambor birth indices show 4 children born of Binem Karp and Feige Rechter/Richter: Chaje Mirl born 1877 (died in 1881) and Isak Jozef born 1879, Chaje (Anna Dwore) born 1886, and Moses Luzer.
