Esther Ann was baptised on 24th September 1843. Her parents were William and Ann. William was a Woodcutter.

In 1861 Esther was living in St Briavels with her parents and 4 siblings. Her father was a Timber Merchant.

In 1866 Esther married Thomas Godwin. The marriage was registered in Chepstow. The couple had 4 children (1 died before 1911).

In 1881 Thomas and Esther were living in Lower Meen, St Briavels. Thomas was a woodcutter, the couple lived with their 3 children.

Esther Ann died in 1922. Her death was registered in Bedwelty. Probate went to her husband Thomas.
