Priscilla Keen was baptised in Newington, Oxfordshire on 14th January 1816[1]. She was the daughter of John Keane and Harriet (Hinton) Keane. Her father stated on the register that he was a labourer and that the family were living in Berrick Prior at the time.
Samuel Belson and Priscilla Keene were married in Newington, Oxfordshire on 9th July 1837[2]. They were bachelor and spinster and both of full age. Samuel was a labourer, living in Chalgrove and the son of Francis Belson who was also a labourer. Priscilla was a labourer living in Newington and the daughter of John Keene who was a shepherd. Priscilla signed her own name on the register whilst Samuel could only make his mark with a cross[3].
She died in 1880.
