In the 1841 census she lived with her parents and siblings in Fradgan Street, Penzance. She was 15 years old.

She married Simon Downing on 10 Jan 1846 in Paul, Cornwall, England. She was a widow. The witnesses to the marriage were Thomas Kelynack and James Richards.^[1]

In 1861 she lived with her husband, a cooper, in Chapel Street, Penzance. In 1871 she lived with her husband in Newlyn. In 1881 she lived with her husband, also living there was their granddaughter, Grace Alice Downing.

She was buried on 5 Jan 1898 in Paul, Cornwall..^[2]
