His obituary states he was a very old and respected resident of Perthville, NSW and also Bathurst, NSW. He resided at 41 Keppel Street and was aged 70. Had an illness for seven months. He leaves a widow and a family of 5 daughters, one of which was Mrs Horace Leahy of Cowra. Mrs James Carroll of Dubbo is a sister and Mr Jack Kent of Dubbo, a brother."
