Alice was born circa 1899 in Missouri. [1] Matthew RICHARD Summers m. Kirksville, MO, 16 Jan. 1917, Alice Kephart, daughter of Ike and Clarissa (Darnell) Kephart, b Kirksville. Richard enlisted in the US Army at Kirksville, 15 May 1917. Discharged at Camp Dodge, Iowa, 3 Oct. 1919. Divorced 1928. Child:
