Biography

James was born about 1835, apparently in Canada^[1]. In about 1873 he united with the widow Martha (nee Housel) Rudgers. To this union, one child named Gertrude was born. He passed away after 1881. We have been unable to discover a burial for him. Wife Martha is buried at the East Akron Cemetery under the name of Rudgers, her first husband.
