Shirley (17) married Robert Hoover Batson (17) (born on November 20, 1928 in Trenton, Grundy, Missouri, United States) on October 7, 1946 in Peoria, Peoria, Illinois. Their son was Robert Michael Batson (1955–2022).
Shirley died on February 25, 2007 in Abingdon, aged 78.[1]
