The death occurred unexpected ly in Lismore yesterday of Mr. Mer- vyn Bertridge (Bert) Cameron, aged 54 years, a resident of Eltham for jthe past eight years and a former resident of Clunes, where he had lived practically all his life. Mr. Cameron was a veteran of World War I, and married Miss Bertha Kirkland, who survives him. In addition there is a son, Mr. Doug Cameron, .of Eltham, and two daughters, Mrs. R. Walters, of Grafton and Mrs. Keith Nelson, of Lismore Heights. Three sisters, Mrs. James Gibson (Clunes), Mrs. Mcintosh (Ulmarra), and Mrs. Somervile (Brisbane) also survive him. The funeral will leave the Pres- byterian Church at Clunes tomor row at a time to be advertised in tomorrow's "Northern Star." and announced over Radio 2LM tonight."[3]
