Biography
Anna (Kjellgren) Ralston died of Influenza in the 1918 Flu Pandemic on Oct 19, 1918
Anna (Kjellgren) Ralston has Swedish ancestors
Anna was born in 1891. She was the daughter of Swedish immigrants Andrew Kjellgren and Christina Sällberg . [1]
She married Stuart Ralston in 1917. [2]
Anna was a school teacher and librarian at Rockford High School.
In 1918 while her husband was over seas, Anna contracted Influenza and died. She and her sister Blanda had been volunteer nurses at a makeshift hospital at Camp Grant during the Spanish Flu Pandemic.
Her sister died of Influenza a day before she did. [3]
