Richard J. Knox, son of Thomas Knox and Maria Cullen, [1] was born on 30 November 1870 in Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts. [1][2][3] He married Alcinda Morgan Cox in 1894 in Marshall, West Virginia. [4] He died on 14 August 1934 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. [3] He was buried in William Penn Gardens Of Remembrance, Churchill, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania
