Biography

Peter MIchael Kraker was born 04 Jun 1892 in Yugoslavia and married about 1918 to Nelle Mae Davidson.^[1][2] He passed away 20 Dec 1978 in Gulfport, Mississippi.^[3][4]

Peter Michael Kraker, 86, of 4105 Franklin Ave., Gulfport, died at 9:20 pm Wednesday, Dec. 20 at his residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 23 at the First Baptist Church of Gulfport with the Rev. Dr. Jim Keith officiating. Burial followed in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Kraker, a retired barber, was born June 4, 1892, in Pozega, Yugoslavia. He was the son of the late Ann Perpick and Anthony Kraker.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gulfport, where he was in the men's Bible Class. He was an Army veteran of World War I and a charter member of the American Legion Joe Graham Post 119, Gulfport.

He was a life member of Gulfport Masonic Lodge 422 F&AM and was a shriner with the Wahabi Temple in Jackson.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lorraine Summers Kraker of Gulfport; a son, Robert L Kraker, Sr. of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Toker of Palmdale, Calif., and Mrs. Don Kueny of Fountain Valley, Calif.; one sisters, Mrs. Marie Pipinich of Pozega; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.^[4]

Sometime after Nellie's death in 1965 he married a second time to Lorraine.
