Biography

Although Ernst was born in Louny, North Bohemia, his siblings were born throughout the 1870s in Podhrad (Now Hluboka nad Vltavou), České Budějovice, South Bohemia. The family may have removed to South Bohemia after his birth. In 1903, he was married in Budejovice, South Bohemia. He served as an officer in the Austro-Hungarian army and was stationed Sarajevo. He was sent home with an illness in 1917 but did not recover and passed away the following spring in Lenesice.
