Biography
William G. Krone was born on 19 Jan 1875 in Pennsylvania to parents John Krone and Catherine Ashenfelter.
In 1899 he married Myrtle Mae (Willis) Krone (1880-1923) and together they had 5 children: Margaret, Grace, Bertha M., Willis Marlin Krone (1911-1991) and Charles W.
At first he worked as a farm laborer but eventually owned and ran a general store. After his wife passed away in 1923, he and 3 of his children lived with his daughter, Grace's family. In 1930 he worked as a school janitor.
He passed away on 15 Dec 1935 in Harrisburg, PA and was buried at Emanuel Cemetery in York County, PA.
