Biography
Hans Kröger was born at farm no. 5 in Tangendorf on 4 September 1710 as son and heir of Claus and Elisabeth Kröger. Fully orphaned by 1724, he grew up with his step-mother Engel nee Meier and her second husband Peter Harms. In 1737, he took over the farm and married Catharina Margarete Meier of neighbouring farm no. 11. Widowed in January of 1742, he married in July of that year Magdalene Lüllau of Ohlendorf. He died at his farm on 1 June 1747.[1]
