Fridericus was born in 1785 and was baptized shortly afterwards on 30 march in the RCc church of Sittard, Duchy of Sittard, nowadays Sittard, Limburg, the Netherlands. He is the son of Christianus Keulen and Anna Elisabetha Tümmers. His godparents are Fridericus Köhlen (his grandfather) and Cornelia Tümmers.[1]
