Biography

Sheila Finnie of New Maryland, NB passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on July 5, 2022. She was born on March 12, 1956 at McAdam, NB, a daughter of the late Calvin and Frances (Wright) LaKing.

Sheila was a member of the Williams Lake Square Dancers. She enjoyed exploring and driving down old country roads and wandering through nature. Spending time at the McAdam Campground on Wauklehegan Lake was one of her favourite places to be. Her granddaughter Claire was the light of her life and she enjoyed the times spent with her and her dog Mr. Nibbles. She was known for giving the best hugs ever :)

Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Michael Finnie; her parents; a brother Walter LaKing; a sister Patricia LaKing; a brother-in-law, Clinton MacAusland and a niece Noella MacAusland.
