Biography
Joseph Leacy aka Lacey was born 1st December 1834 in Wexford, Ireland. [1]
Marriage. Mary Murphy.
Emigration to Australia. Joseph Leacy and his wife, Mary Murphy, were having children in Queensland by 1863. A son died there in 1862.
Death. Joseph Lacey died 17th August 1915 at Woodford, Queensland, Australia.
In 2011, a memorial plaque was laid in the Lawnton cemetery, Lawnton, Queensland, by Joseph's descendants. It reads: [2]
