Biography
James was baptised at Ringshall on 30 November 1767. His parents were Jonathan Laflin & Elizabeth Hicks[1]
He first married Bathsheba Newstead on 21 January 1794 at Ringshall.[2]
She died less than two years later and was buried at Ringshall in 1796.[3]
He married Ann Ramsey on 14 November 1797 at Ringshall, Suffolk.[4]
With James and Ann on the 1841 census were their daughter Sarah Laflin (abt.1810-) and her husband James Pearl (abt.1810-), and their grandchildren Jemima Laflin (bef.1825-) and William Laflin (bef.1831-).
James died in 1848.[5]
