Edward Lamb, age 17, Bachelor, Roller Grinder, of Middleton, (son of Thomas Lamb, Labourer) & Mary Gilmore, age 20, Spinster, Cardroom Hand, of Tonge, (daughter of Peter Gilmore, Spinner) were married 19th March 1887 in the Parish Church of Middleton St. Leonard, Lancashire, England according to the Rites and Ceremonies of the Established Church, after Banns, by C. Harwood Hill, Curate. Edward & Mary both signed. Witnesses were Richard Richardson & Kate Richardson.^[4][5][6]
