Anne-Gertrude was born about 1745, according to MacIsaac & DesRoches. Barriault dates her marriage to Joseph DesRoches as approximately 1767 (place not stated). MacIsaac & DesRoches report that the marriage was solemnized ("revalidated") by Fr. Bailly at Arichat, Cape Breton, on 12 Aug 1771.[1]
