Adam A. Lang, 91, Dunseith, N.D., formerly Gackle, N.D., died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, at Dunseith.

Mr. Lang was born Feb. 15, 1912, in Gackle, the son of Gottlieb and Christina (Martel) Lang. He attended school in Gackle and the Seventh-day Adventist Academy at Harvey. He married Charlotte Hewitt in 1934. He taught school in several towns surrounding Dunseith. He then farmed in the area.

He is survived by two sons, Duwayne, Juneau, Alaska, and Dwight, Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Leah Jerke, Gackle, and Esther Ovik, Minnesota; and a grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Services: Saturday, Nov. 1, Nero Funeral Home Chapel, Bottineau, N.D., with Pastor Veldee Hightower officiating.
