Henry was in the Royal Navy from being a Cadet in 1859 to Captain in 1889. [2][3]

In the 1881 census Henry (age 36), Commander Royal Navy, was the married head of household in Huish Champflower, Huish Champflower, Somerset, England.[5]
In the 1891 census Henry (age 46) was the head of household in Hartrow and Ashbier, Stogumber, Somerset, England.[6]
Henry was lost at sea on 11 September 1896[7][8][9]
