Charles Philip Stourton and Mary Langdale were married on 12 July 1775

The native of Otaheite is at present at the seat of Lord Langdale, at Holme in Yorkshire: he has already been at Scarborough and York, and all the public places in Yorkshire, and much admires that country. He never thinks of leaving England unless it is to relate to the natives of his own country what he has seen since he has been in England. He is expected in town next week to visit Capt. Cooke, who first made the discovery of that country.

In Jermyn-street, London, the Right Hon. Mamaduke Lord Langdale, of Holme, in the East-Riding of Yorkshire, the fifth of that title. The first Lord Langdale was created by Charles the second in February 1657. His Lordship married Constantia, daughter of Sir John Smythe, Bart. of Langley and Acton-Burnell, Shropshire, by whom he has left three daughters. The title become extinct for want of issue male.
Note by Martin C. Styan: findmypast has links to 6 newspaper reports saying that Marmaduke died in April 1778. The obituary of Marmaduke's daughter cited below, and the website thepeerage.com place his death in 1777.

Mary Langdale, second daughter and co-heir of Marmaduke fifth Lord Langdale, which title became extinct on his death in 1777, was married, 15th of June, 1775, to Charles Philip the late Lord Stourton, by whom her ladyship had issue a family of 10 children, ...
