Nancy's surname is noted as Lark. Her son William Alex told his son, great grand daughter etc.her surname was Lark. Per her daughter Ann V., Nancy 's maiden name is shown as Lark on her birth record. There is record of the family name Lark in the area of Virginia (SW) from which she probably hailed. I have seen on the internet some have her maiden name as Blankenship. Family lore and documents do not support that theory. More research is needed,
