Biography

William was born on February 11, 1890 in Watervilet, Albany, New York. He was the son of John Larkin and Rosanna Halpin. In 1914, he married Alice Dalton and they had five children during the course of their marriage. William worked as a maintenance foreman at the Maqua Paint Company in Schenectady and unfortuantely passed away due to a brief illness on December 11, 1951 in Troy, New York. He is interred in Saint Mary's Cemetery with his wife Alice, daughter Helen, son John and family member Nellie Dalton. ^[1] William P. Larkin. maintenance foreman at the Maqua Paint Co. in Schenectady, died at the Leonard Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Larkin resided at 600 Fourth Avenue. Survivors include his widow, the former Alice I. Dalton; a daughter, Ellen A. Larkin; three sons, John H., Robert L. and Edmund C. Larkin, , all of Troy, and six sisters, Mrs. Jane Nugent, Mrs. Margaret McLoughlin, Mrs. Rose Halpin, Mrs. Ray Nally, Mrs. Irene McGrath and Mrs. Agnes McClare, all of Watervliet. ^[2]
