Biography
Ludger Maurice Larochelle was born and baptized on 8 Oct 1916 in Saint-Patrice parish in Tingwick, Arthabaska, Québec. He was the son of François-Xavier Larochelle, farmer, and Ida Nolin of this parish. Sponsors at Maurice's baptism were his maternal grandparents Ludger Nolin and his wife Delphine Luneau; neither sponsor signed the register. At age 27 Maurice married Marie Louise Gagnon on 6 May 1944 in Saint-Patrice parish in Tingwick. There were eight known children born into this marriage. Maurice died at age 59 on 20 Nov 1975.
