Biography
Gro Larsdatter was born in Norway

Gro was born about 1665.[1] She was the daughter of Lars Gisholt and Jøran Gisholt.[2]
She married Ole Andersen on 15 July 1708 in Bamble.[3][4]
She died in 1728 at Grostok, Bamble.[1]
A probate was held 25 October 1728 at Grostok, Bamble after the deceased Groe Larsdatter. She left the widower Ole Grostock. She had no children; her three brothers inherit:
- 1. Torjus Larsen, deceased and left the son
- Lars Torjusen, married and living in Solum parish,
- 2. Halvor Larsen, deceased and left 2 daughters:
- Jøran Halvorsdatter, married to Jørgen Knudsen [sic] in Solum parish,
- Ingeborg Halvorsdatter, 14 years old,
- 3. Joen Larsen, married and living at the Bamble farm in this parish.[2]
Research Notes
Collated with the probate after Hans Mortensen in 1696,[5] it is obvious that the two probates enumerate the same four siblings, who must be the children of Lars and Jøran at the Gisholt vestre farm.
