Gudlaug was born in 1725 at Øya, Kilebygda.[1] She was the daughter of Lars Nielsen Øya / Timeland and Berte Andersdatter Frønes.[1][2]
She died in 1778 at Østsida, Porsgrunn.[3]
A probate was held on 9 May 1778 at Østsida, Porsgrunn after the deceased maid Gulloug Larsdatter. Her siblings inherit:
- 1. sister Anne Larsdatter, married to Jacob Halvorsen living in Langesund,
- 2. sister Kirstie Larsdatter, unmarried and living in Melum,
- 3. Half sister Ingebor Larsdatter, married to Halvor Jørgensen in Melum.[4]
