1 May 1964 Obituary: Mrs. Martha Eliizabeth Walker of 306 E Forest, died at the age of 87 after a six-month illness. Mrs. Walker was born Feb. 24, 1877, in Honeyville, a daughter of Heber and Sarah Allen Lasley. She was reared and educated in Rockland, Idaho. She was married to Don Carlos Walker on Dec. 3, 1893, in American Falls, Idaho. They later received endowments in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Walker died on May 12, 1934. Martha moved to Brigham City in 1910 where she had been active in civic affairs. She was a Relief Society worker active in temple work and a member of Sunflower Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are one son and four daughters: Jesse C. Walker, Richmond Calif., Mrs. Grover (Lovina) Jones, Mrs. George (Alga) Mitton Walker, both of Wellsville, Mrs. Ellis (Lega) Crowther, Woodside Calif., Mrs. Henry (Rosa Lee) Bush, Roy; 23 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, two brothers and three sisters.
