Biography
Lyle Forest Lathrop was born November 6, 1907 in Popejoy, Franklin Co., Iowa, Son of Sam Lathrop and Anna Johnson. He spent his early life and received his education in Popejoy and Dows, Iowa. He married Mabel Evelyn Solomon, April 10, 1929 in Nashua, Iowa. Lyle was employed at Fisher Controls until retirement in 1972. He was a member of the Fisher 25-Year Club and attended First Methodist Church. Lyle died 20 July 1982 at Marshalltown, Iowa, buried at Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, Iowa.
