Biography
Jean (Laurence) Ripley was born in Scotland.
Also known as Jane Barbour Laurence, Jean was born in 1903 in Dundee, Scotland, the daughter of William Laurence. She married Herbert Ripley in 1929.
Jean died in St Barts hospital in Chatham in 1958 aged 54 of lung cancer, brought on by heavy smoking. Probate was granted for her estate on 25 Sep 1958.
