Biography
Daniel was born after 1657, the year his parents married, and before 1681, the year his nearest younger brother was born. He is the son of John Lawrence and Sarah Buckmaster.
His next oldest sibling, Ebenezer, was a life-long resident of Wrentham, Massachusetts. It is likely that Daniel was also. That would make him the Daniel Lawrence of Wrenthan who married Bethiah (Fisher) Everett of Dedham on 18 October 1726 in Dedham, Massachusetts. [1]
Daniel Lawrence of Dedham and Hannah Ingraham of Rehoboth had marriage intentions posted in 28 July 1702 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. It is hoped that a marriage followed soon after. [2]
Sometime after Hannah’s death, Daniel moved from Dedham to Wrentham, perhaps to get daycare for his young children from his brother Ebenezer’s family.
Daniel’s second wife, Bethiah, was born in 1683 and Daniel was born between 1657 and 1681, probably close to 1681.
Daniel died shortly before 4 October 1748, as evidenced by his probate hearing on that date. His wife, Bethiah Lawrence, was named as executrix of the estate. She made bond for the estate with William Everett of Dedham and Nathaniel Bread of Stoughton. [3]
