24 Feb 1679 Lawrence Lawson, Planter, Freeman; Notes Sgt. Taylor required to register people carrying timber from the Sane Valley into Chapel Valley for the Crane Battery rockfall protection, at Coleson's house on 27th February. The people who still have to complete their task are John Boys, Edward Brayne, Heddulph Eibney, William Hayes, William Hunt, Lawrence Lawson, William Marshall, Thomas Rolfe, Lester Sexton, Thomas Swallow, James Wakefield & Peter Williams.

27 Sep 1680 - Lawrence Lawson, Planter, Freeman; Notes Owen Bevan complaining that Lawrence Lawson failed to carry out work contracted for Bevan for which he had been paid 20s. Lawson ordered to pay back the 20s with warrant charges, unless he does some of the work for half the cost.
