Biography
"These bible records are from a bible that I believe belonged originally to Abram D. Lawyer of Richmondville. It has come down through the family. My mother is a Lawyer. Abram was the son of David Lawyer and Catharina Sternbergh. David, the son of Jacob Frederick Lawyer and Elisabetha Sternbergh. Catharina, the daughter of Nicholas Sternberg and Catharina Rickert. (Elisabetha and Nicholas were brother and sister.) David and Catharina's family are also included in the records. Abram's wife, Sophrona was the daughter of Jeremiah Eckert and Annetje Elsworth of the Kingston area, who came to Schoharie Co. ca. 1810. Tim Krysztopa, August 28, 1998"
